How to create a new product?
Go to the 'Products' tab, click 'Add a product' and select your preferred product type: fixed price, free, or gift.
Is it possible to add a product that has an open ended price?
Yes. Fleapay can handle variable pricing. Use the "Gift" type when creating a product and customers will be able to enter their own price at checkout.
The "Gift" payment type will provide your customer with the following payment amounts: $10, $25, $50, $100, $250 and Other. "Other" is an open field and can accept any amount.
How do I create a 'Donate Button'?
Go to the 'Products' tab, click 'Add a product' and select 'Gift' as your product type.
Once a gift is created, this will automatically create a form for you. The donation form will include the
option to donate $10, $25, $50, $100, $250 or any amount your donor specifies.
The title for your donors is adjustable and based on whatever you enter for your product name
Can I change the default levels for a "gift"?
For example, can you eliminate the $10.00 level? Unfortunately no. You can't do that. The default levels are fixed (for now).
Can I customize the URL for open ended products ('Gift') and donations?
Any title you give your 'Gift' will automatically become the url for you product. For example, if your product is named 'Donate For A Better Shopping Experience', your url will be https://www.fleapay.com/fleapay/donate-for-a-better-shopping-experience/e0e4f81702
Why can't I delete my product?
You can only delete products that do not have any orders processed.
For your convenience, we created another product state — 'Deactivate'.
This was done so you can easily reactivate that product if you need it again later.
This resides in the bottom right corner of any that meets these requirements.
